We all have heard the saying, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” What better way to “love yourself” than to pamper the largest organ in your body with the finest of ingredients helping it to be smooth and healthy—not dried out and cracked during the winter or gardening months. Come and spend an afternoon with me as I teach you how to make a lotion bar using ingredients that will not matter if your child eats it or the dog gets a hold of it—might not taste good, but it won’t hurt them. The nice thing about a lotion bar is that if you drop it—it doesn’t spill all over the floor like liquid lotion making a greasy mess to clean up. Then once you learn how to make lotion bars, you can “love your neighbor” by making some for them as a gift.
So join me in the Shepherd’s Hill Farm Kitchen, Saturday afternoon, February 8, from 2:00 to 4:00 as we have fun mixing butters, oils, and beeswax to make a lovely lotion bar you will delight to use and share.
Please RSVP by dropping me an email letting me know that you are coming.
You can find our kitchen at 673 SW Ichetucknee Avenue, Lake City, FL 32024.
Cost is $30 at the door.
Hope to see you there!
